Apprenticeships
What is an apprenticeship?
An Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to gain both qualifications and work place experience. You can earn while you learn and gain practical skills from the workplace. If going to College or 6th Form is not for you and you are ready to enter the workforce and start earning a wage, an Apprenticeship could be for you.
Apprenticeships have received a lot of press attention in recent years and the Government is firmly behind supporting the opportunity for more and more young people to undertake Apprenticeships.
Once you have completed an Apprenticeship you can progress to wherever you want to go. You will have the skills and experience needed to help you progress quickly through your career, you can go to University, you can even go on to own your own company.
Did you know that there are many celebrities who used to be Apprentices? These include Sir Alex Ferguson, Manager Manchester United Football Club, Jamie Oliver, Celebrity Chef and Alexander McQueen, Fashion Designer.
